AKKORDEONEO 2026 – A Festival Full of Sonic Adventures in the Year of the Accordion
In 2026 the 12th International Accordion Festival of Pantonale e.V. launches with a new name, new energy, and a special reason to celebrate: AKKORDEONEO 2026. Berlin and all of Germany have chosen the accordion as the Instrument of the Year 2026! For all accordion lovers—and for everyone who may soon become one—this is a real reason to celebrate. And for the instrument itself, it’s a wonderful opportunity to gain more attention, recognition, and new fans.

In 2026, we’re taking it even further:
Berlin will become a vibrant meeting place for international accordion art in June 2026. The winners of the renowned International Competition ASTOR PIAZZOLLA®—held at the end of February / beginning of March 2026 in Italy—will come together in Berlin for the first time. With new soloists, ensembles, and award-winning compositions from the Piazzolla Competition, an outstanding musical experience is taking shape.
