Named one of Musical America’s Top 30 Professionals of the Year for 2025, Croatian conductor Miran Vaupotić has been acclaimed as “dynamic and knowledgeable” by the Buenos Aires Herald. He has collaborated with leading orchestras and distinguished artists, performing in major concert halls around the world. A dedicated advocate of contemporary music, Vaupotić has led numerous world premieres, including several operas.

Vaupotić has released recordings on Naxos, Classic Concert Records, Navona Records, and Movimento Classical. He is a recipient of the Gold Medal at the Global Music Awards in California (USA) and a First Prize winner of the 12th International Aram Khachaturian Conducting Competition in Yerevan, Armenia. He has served as Chief Conductor of the Croatian Chamber Orchestra and Chief Conductor of the South Czech Philharmonic. He is currently Artistic Director of the Zagreb Symphony Orchestra and Secretary General of the International Competition ASTOR PIAZZOLLA®.
