Sergey Sadovoy was born in 1998 in the city of Kherson, where he began studying the accordion at the age of 8 at the local music school and from 2014 at the music college, subsequently actively participating in festivals and competitions. In 2018, he continued his musical education at the Rostov Academy of Music in the class of Yuri Shishkin, who taught him to analyze the works he performed in a new way and also gave him a new approach to creating original interpretations. His playing is characterized by a high technical level and powerful musicality. During his studies he took part in several international competitions, where he won first prizes at both the International Gridin Competition in Kursk and the International Accordion Competition in Tambov (2019).
