Born in Salò in 1971, Luca Lucini began studying the classical guitar at the age of eight. After attending master classes he won several competitions and performed in Europe and Asia at important music festivals both as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles. In 2009, he played as a soloist with the Belorussian State Chamber Orchestra and performed the world première of the Concert for Guitar and Orchestra by Andrea Scarpone. The same year, together with Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi, he recorded a CD entitled “el tan(G)o” with music by Astor Piazzolla and others.

From 1993 to 1997, he worked as a production assistant for a television program on Super Channel London. During this time, he directed numerous music videos for Italian artists. In the following years, he directed commercials and television programs. In 2024 Luca Lucini has been appointed as the artistic director of the Summer Musical Festival of Garda, a historically significant festival held in his hometown Salò where the new municipal administration was counting on Lucini to bring freshness and innovation to the festival while keeping the cultural significance of this summer event alive.
